After moving to a 15-month high on Monday, London’s equity markets slipped yesterday as dealers took profits. The FTSE 100 index fell back 0.7 per cent, losing 31.1 points to close at 43789, while the FTSE 250 did slightly better and climbed 27.2 points to end the day at 5780.2. The biggest mover was probably MyTravel, which lost half a penny to close at 11.25p ahead of its annual results, which are due to be published imminently.
