Travel shares chalked up some decent gains on Monday as London’s equity markets had their best day in some seven weeks. The FTSE 100 index gained 1.5% in value, adding 63.4 points to close at 4382.4, while the FTSE 250 gained 0.9% and closed at 5682.8, up 50.8 points.
