Travelcare buys Bell Travel
Travelcare has expanded its branch network by 14 through the acquisition of Bell Travel.
Travelcare, an independent agent, has increased its Scottish branches by almost half through the acquisition, bringing them to 38. Bell Travel’s Craig Dempster will become regional sales manager for the new branches in Scotland, which will be rebranded Travelcare.
Bell Travel’s branches in Lancaster and Darlington will also be rebranded.
The acqusition takes Travelcare’s branches to 384 in the UK. Travelcare will take on 66 Bell Travel staff, which will leave about five administrative and accounting staff from Bell Travel’s head office without jobs.
