Traveldoo integrates VCN payments
Travel and expense management platform Traveldoo has announced the integration of Conferma Virtual Card Number (VCN) technology into its system.
This allows Traveldoo Corporate travelers to book hotels using a Conferma VCN as payment or a credit card guarantee.
Conferma PCI-compliant software generates 16-digit one time use virtual credit card numbers which are linked to a registered physical credit card.
Booking and payment data are automatically reconciled, doing away with the need for time-consuming manual reconciliation.
Custom controls can be applied such as setting a limit on the amount to be paid for any given transaction.
VCNs can be used by a travel management company to book through a GDS or an individual traveller through an online booking platform that accepts card payments.
"Traveldoo are delighted to be partnering with Conferma. The integration of a virtual payment solution will further enhance the Traveldoo global end-to-end travel and expense management platform," said Julian Mills, UK Director of Traveldoo.
Conferma chief executive Simon Barker said: "Traveldoo’s corporate travellers will now be able to reap all the benefits of VCNs with no change to their existing booking processes. In our experience, the ability to retain existing partnerships and workflows is particularly important for corporate travellers. This integration enables them to do just that."
