Traveleye boosts content
WTM Special: Agents using Traveleye will be able to access more travel suppliers with more specific search criteria following a deal with Ramesys.
NTL Business (Travel Division) has been working with Ramesys for 15 months to come up with an improved content and search function on its agency selling system, Traveleye. From mid December the Ramesys SABS search and booking engine will be available as an add-on to Traveleye.
Agents can use SABS to search and make bookings with operators, charter airlines, schedule airlines (through Galileo) and no-frills carriers through an online brochure or through Viewdata. It will cost 11.75 pounds per month to add the SABS facility.
Ramesys commercial director, Brian Sheerin told TravelMole: “NTL is the sitting tenant in most agents in the UK, so it is an ideal partnership”.
SABS includes a specific search option that allows agents to incorporate customer preference on factors like hotel and room facilities and local activities. Ramesys can also incorporate a search engine into the agency website to allow customers to search and book directly, while still ensuring the agent receives a commission.
NTL Business Head of Marketing, Travel and Retail, Jill Cox said: “We are committed to developing Traveleye into an industry portal that provides agents with the widest possible range of reservations options and booking tools. By aggregating content in this way we believe we can offer agents a bookings environment unparalleled in the industry and the tools to close a sale in the least possible time.”
