Travelmole’s Travel Industry Question Time on the future of tour operators has sold out and 60 extra spaces have been added to cope with demand.
The debate will be held tomorrow at the London School of Economics, Aldwych, London in conjuction with Dubai.
A panel of top industry speakers will tackle the question – Is the traditional tour operator the dinosaur of the travel industry?
The line-up includes Opodo head of tours Chris Roe, Cadogan Holidays managing director Tom Allen, Flybe’s lesiure sales manager David Paterson, lastminute director holidays and flights John Bevan, Cosmos sales director Andy Washington and Sunvil Holidays’ Noel Josephides, who is to represent the Association of Independent Tour Operators.
The event will be held in room D602, Clements House, at LSE, from 16.30-18.30.
The discussion, to be moderated by travel industry journalist and commentator Jeremy Skidmore, follows what many in the trade have described as the worst summer in 15 years.
