Traveltek signs two key cruise lines
Holland America Line and Thomson Cruises are now bookable on Traveltek’s live iCruise platform.
Traveltek said the signings take its coverage of ex UK cruise inventory to 95% coverage and "surpasses that of any other company".
It will be the first time Thomson Cruises is bookable for agents online.
Traveltek MD Kenny Picken said: “Traveltek only develops direct connections to the cruise operators, as opposed to via a GDS, and this strategy has proven successful, adding true value in their distribution not only in the UK but also in Europe and the rest of the world as we have developed iCruise to suit a global audience.
“Agents realise by dealing direct with a cruise operator or via their systems on the Traveltek platform that they can take advantage of the best deals and tacticals in real time.”
