Travelzest receives possible takeover bid
Travelzest, the travel group founded by former Thomson boss Chris Mottershead, has received a potential takeover bid.
The company said it was in the “early stages” of discussions over a potential cash offer for the business.
The price is at 115 pence per ordinary share.
TUI Travel is being touted as a possible suitor for Travelzest.
“There is no certainty that the talks will result in an offer being made for the company,†a statement to the Stock Exchange said.
Travelzest runs brands such as Best of Morocco, VFB Holidays and Tapestry Collection, and floated on the AIM in 2005.
