Travelzest has responded to speculation that chief executive Chris Mottershead and finance director Colin McKinlay are to leave.
Reports suggested they were being poached by TUI to run its Canadian businesses – a country where both have travel industry experience.
Mottershead is a former managing director of TUI UK while McKinlay was previously at Thomas Cook.
They both fomerly worked for MyTravel/Airtours in Canada. Â
A statement from Travelzest said it had “noted recent press speculation†concerning the departure of the duo.
“The company confirms that it has not received letters of resignation from Mr Mottershead or Mr McKinlay, however, the company has entered into discussions with Mr Mottershead and Mr McKinlay about their employment terms.
“A further announcement will be made when appropriate.â€Â
