Travelzoo seeks partners for ‘money-can’t-buy travel exclusives’
Travelzoo is looking to expand its Member Events service, which offers exclusive deals on ‘money-can’t-buy’ experiences.
General manager James Clarke said the deals publisher wants to work with trade partners to offer travel exclusives, which include ‘some form of element that really makes it stand out’.
He told a TravelMole podcast: "We’re looking for more partners to work with us on exclusive events, which could be either a local or a travel deal.
An example of what he described as Travelzoo’s ‘money-can’t-buy experiences’ is a recent full-theatre takeover of the Tina Turner musical, with exclusive meet-and-greet and champagne reception.
"We have done a few of these in the UK," said Clarke. "We are also looking to work with travel partners and do travel exclusives.
"This is a great opportunity for us to not just work with partners, but to grow our member base. We are open to ideas. We are open to our partners."
The podcast also includes tips from Clarke on how to get the most out of a partnership with Travelzoo. Listen to it here.
