Treasure Island sends the kids back to school……………..

Fiji’s Treasure Island Resort’s latest free kids activity, a day at school, is attracting a surprisingly high number of takers, with the resort’s younger visitors jumping at the opportunity to spend a day as full participants at a traditional Fijian village school to see first-hand what a day in class is like – Fiji-style.

The school in located in the Chiefly village of Viseisei on Fiji’s big island of Viti Levu, a 15-minute boat ride from the resort and operating twice weekly the school visit is one of a stack of free fully-supervised kids’ activities available at the resort.

Other activities included water sports, mini golf, volleyball, spear throwing, dancing, competitions, treasure hunts and games guaranteed to ensure some very tired but happy children at the end of the day.

Price-wise, a five-night stay at Treasure Island Resort based on two adults and two children under 12 years of age sharing an air-conditioned Ocean View Bure starts from a family friendly $2122.

This includes daily breakfast, lunch and dinner plus soft drinks for the kids.

The offer also includes morning and afternoon tea, daily canapés, and an invitation to the General Manager’s weekly cocktail party.

Return land and boat transfers are also included.

The offer is available for travel from 15 August until 15 December 2007.
