Trio of Princess ships Down Under for 2025/26 season
Princess Cruises has revealed details of its 2025/26 Australia cruse programme.
It will feature the Down Under debut of Discovery Princess as well as the longest ever world cruise to sail roundtrip from Australia.
Crown Princess will embark on a 114-night voyage.
Crown Princess’ 2026 world voyage will visit 31 countries across six continents.
It includes overnight visits to New York, Lima and Quebec plus late-night stays in destinations including Reykjavik in Iceland and Papeete in Tahiti.
The main cruise programme offers roundtrip departures from Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland.
Discovery Princess, Crown Princess and Grand Princess will offer 120 departures, with cruises ranging from 2 to 37 days.
Departures are available from seven ports: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Hobart in Australia and Auckland in New Zealand
Discovery Princess’ makes its Sydney debut on December 6, 2025 almost exactly 50 years since Princess Cruises first started Australia cruises.
The original Pacific Princess sailed on her first roundtrip cruise from Sydney in December 1975.
The 145,000-tonne Discovery Princess will be the biggest Princess Cruises’ ship to ever sail in Australia.
Discovery Princess and Crown Princess will be deployed in Sydney, sailing various itineraries including round Australia voyages and a Tahiti and Hawaii cruise.
There are also roundtrip sailings to New Zealand, Queensland and Fiji.
The 107,000-tonne, 2,600-guest Grand Princess will be based in Brisbane operating 14 roundtrip cruises to Tasmania, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand.
All three ships based Down Under will offer Princess guests the personalized MedallionClass service.
