Trio of Vietnam destinations roll out Central Coast brand campaign

Saturday, 23 May, 2016 0
Rather than fight amongst themselves for tourism business, the three leading destinations on Vietnam’s Central Coast are teaming up to pool their resources.

Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue are now working together under a new brand campaign ‘The Essence of Vietnam.’

The three destinations will cross-promote attractions to encourage more multi-city stays within the region.

Da Nang, the main gateway for the region has seen strong capacity growth in both air and cruise ship services over the last year.

On May 25 Bangkok Airways launches four times a week Bangkok-Da Nang flights.

The campaign is being backed by the Environmentally and Socially Responsible Tourism Capacity Development Program which is funded by the European Union.

A website platform is being developed to help visitors plan trips on the Central Coast with content on activities and attractions, itineraries and travel essentials such as visa regulations for international visitors and transport options.

The campaign will be marketed alongside the national brand campaign ‘Vietnam-Timeless Charm.’
