Trip.com teams up with Rezdy
Ctrip subsidiary Trip.com has inked a partnership with Australia based Rezdy.
Trip.com is tapping the Rezdy platform to enable Chinese travelers to gain access to about 80,000 new travel products across the world.
The Rezdy software solution links booking agencies to complementary tourist attraction businesses through a live-inventory management platform.
The partnership helps tours, activities and attractions providers across more than 100 countries to connect with Trip.com’s and Ctrip Group’s customer base while raising Rezdy’s brand awareness in China and across Asia.
"We can enable our customers to enjoy incremental revenue through this new channel. This type of partnership remains why retaining independence is key in this space," said Chris Atkin, CEO of Rezdy.
Online travel agency Trip.com offers one-stop travel booking in 19 languages on desktop and mobile platforms.
As part of the Ctrip Group, it has a membership base of about 300 million customers.
"Our collaboration aims to make travel a one-stop seamless experience for all," said Lynn Qiu, Trip.com vice president of product.
