Trump’s DC hotel lost USD70 million during presidency
Former President Donald Trump’s flagship Washington DC hotel racked up more than $70 million in losses over his presidential term of office.
During those four years, the hotel generated more than $156 million in income but still lost more than $70 million. The hotel had to be loaned more than $27 million from one of Trump’s holding companies.
Investigators found the hotel received millions from foreign governments in payments that Trump did not disclose. It is the first time financial information of the business dealings of the former president has been publically released.
