TTD: Gohop.com inventory deal with PlacesToStay
Irish online travel site Gohop.com has signed an inventory agreement with FEXCO’s PlacesToStay hotel reservation programme.
PlacesToStay provides travel trade distributors and consolidators real-time booking capabilities with more than 25,000 properties.
Dublin-based Gohop claims more than 4,000 daily Irish users generating average revenues of €250,000 a week.
FEXCO’s Tim Wright said: “Gohop.com was one of the early pioneers of selling travel online in Ireland, and has gone from strength to strength. As well as adding rich, informative content for users, Gohop.com is investing in inventory expansion, and the integration of Placestostay’s extensive range of hotels is good news for Gohop.com customers. They get more choice and value options, while Gohop.com has more revenue opportunity and builds its reputation further.”
Steve McKenna, commercial director of Travel Management Solutions (Gohop.com), added: “We constantly look for new ways to add value for online customers, and that often means content. Our deal with Placestostay enhances Gohop’s offer, which is important in the Irish market where travel services are the most frequent online purchase.”
