Tui appoints new Specialist UK managing director
Tui Travel has promoted Clare Tobin to managing director of its Specialist UK businesses reporting to Specialist Holiday Group managing director Mathew Prior.
Her promotion follows the departure of MD of Tui UK and Ireland Specialist Division Ian Simkins, who left the company following a restructure which led to the creation of the Specialist Holiday Group.
Tobin, head of Tui’s long-haul specialist brands, will take responsibility for the performance of all UK brands based in Crawley.
In addition to her current long-haul responsibilities, she will take charge of the UK short haul brands Sovereign, Citalia and Meon Villas.
