TUI Blue expands in China
TUI Group continues to ramp up its presence in Asia.
It announced its sixth hotel in China, located in Jimei District of Xiamen City.
TUI Blue Xiamen Seaside Hot Spring features 340 rooms with a hot spring resort experience.
The spring is sourced from deep sea hot spring water.
The hotel is located on the southeastern coast of China. seven kilometres from Jimei Beach.
Chen Aiqin, president of Yongtongchang Group and owner of the hotel, says: “As we celebrate this transition to TUI Blue, I truly believe it will become a vibrant symbol of Xiamen’s tourism industry.“
Artur Gerber, Managing Director TUI Hotels & Resorts, added: “We are delighted to welcome this hotel to the TUI Blue family, adding a new holiday destination. Thanks to the trust of our partners, we are rapidly expanding our footprint in China..”
In addition, the group will also open its first ski resort in China.
TUI Blue Keketuohai Sanbaisuo, located in the northwest, will join the portfolio later this year.
The Altay Region features a diverse landscape and offers the longest snow season in Asia.
The neighbouring Keketuohai ski area will open for 210 days a year and has 23 slopes with a total length of 61 kilometres.
TUI Blue debuted in China one year ago.
