TUI director leaves
TUI aviation director Christoph Mueller is leaving the company and PLC Board to pursue other interests.
The group said the decision was made after the successful “strategic cooperation†with Air Berlin following the merger with First Choice.
TUI Travel chairman Dr Michael Frenzel said: “Christoph was an integral part of the TUI Tourism team prior to the merger with First Choice and since the merger has, within TUI Travel, played a significant and valuable role in helping to drive the Group’s progress.
“I am sure he will make a similar valuable contribution as he pursues other interests outside the Group and wish him every success for the future.â€
He will leave the Board today and the company on October 31 2009.
