TUI parent commended for equal opportunities
TUI AG has received an award in Germany for its equal opportunity policies.
The accolade, from Total E-Quality Deutschland, has been awarded for the group’s support for families, including the large number of individual and flexible models for working hours.
The judging panel said: "What is remarkable are the opportunities offered to achieve a work-life balance."
Measures included the TUI crèche, childcare exchange platform and a scholarship programme for elder children to spend time abroad.
TUI AG also runs an elder-care programme to support the provision of care to relatives and offers part-time training for single parents.
