Malaysia Airlines recently inked another codeshare agreement, extending its collaboration with Turkish Airlines.
As part of the new agreement Turkish Airlines will offer its customers more destinations in Malaysia and Australia on Malaysia Airlines operated services.
Malaysia Airlines customers can also book through tickets to a host of Turkish domestic destinations.
Malaysia’s airline code will be added to Turkish Airlines’ routes to Kuala Lumpur from Istanbul, as well as the Ankara, Antalya and Izmir routes.
"This codeshare will also allow for our passengers to travel to the major cities in Turkey, providing them with even more access for their travels," said Izham Ismail, Malaysia Airlines CEO.
"This opens up the opportunity for more tourists to explore Malaysia, as one of the premier holiday destinations in the Asia Pacific region.
Malaysia Airlines also recently signed new codeshare alliance agreements with Singapore Airlines and British Airways.
