Uber to sell gift vouchers

The season of giving is almost upon us and Uber is offering its own gift ideas for the holidays.
 
The ride hailing app is bringing out gift cards in time for Thanksgiving and the Christmas party season which will be arriving at up to 35,000 retail locations in the coming weeks.
 
Major chain stores where the cards will be sold include Walmart, Target and CVS.
 
They will also be available on the Uber site and at Amazon.
 
Gift card values start at $15 and do not have an expiry date.
 
Rides can be redeemed by entering the gift card code directly in the Uber app
