UK industry says APT is the best!
ATE exhibitor Australian Pacific Touring, located at Booth 203 has been voted the Best Australian Supplier by the UK travel industry in the recent annual OzCars awards staged by Tourism Australia in London.
APT markets its very extensive range of Australian touring programmes in the UK including cruising, coach travel, rail, extended tours and short breaks through its Kimberley Wilderness, Kangaroo Island Odysseys, Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland and Tasmania programs.
The award, based on industry nominations and received by APT’s London office Director, Gary Bartelings, is a new category to the Ozcars to recognise the commitment in sales, marketing and support of the distribution network by Australian tourism product suppliers in the UK.
Nomination criteria include accessibility for sales support and issue management, investment in training and innovation in financial/non financial sales and marketing activity.
APT beat other nominees for the award, including AAT Kings, Hamilton Island Resort, AOT and The Lakes Resort Cairns.
APT Director, Barry Matters said the award reflected APT’s focus on easy-to-sell defined product and a close association with the needs of the UK industry.
