Music City USA is in the limelight in the UK this weekend with the Country to Country Festival taking place across London, Glasgow and Belfast.
New 2025 figures from Nashville International Airport highlight just how strong the UK’s connection with Nashville has become.
The UK continues to be one of Nashville’s most important international markets. In 2025, the airport recorded 143,440 UK passengers, marking an 11% year-on-year increase.
Europe remains the airport’s largest and fastest-growing international region, accounting for 33% of total international passengers, with overall European passenger numbers up 19% year-on-year. Notably, the airport now ranks second among the top 30 U.S. airports for European growth.
More broadly, international passenger demand at BNA has expanded by approximately 30% since 2015, with the airport now ranking 29th among the top 50 U.S. airports for international passengers.
BNA recorded an average of 2,383 international passengers per day each way, reflecting the city’s rapidly increasing global connectivity.
These figures reflect the increasing demand from European travellers looking to experience Music City first-hand.
Deana Ivey, Chief Executive Officer at Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp said: “The UK continues to be Nashville’s leading international market, reflecting the strong cultural connection between our two destinations.”
“From our shared love of music to Nashville’s vibrant culinary scene, it’s easy to see why British travellers feel at home in Music City. We’re delighted to see this reflected in the latest figures.”
