Unbelievable press release of the week…

Wednesday, 10 Sep, 2010 0

Travelmole had to rub its small beady eyes in disbelief today at the latest Skyscanner press release.

In a tenuous and rather odd bid to promote the beer bonanza that is the Munich Oktoberfest, the company has sent out some suggestions about where holidaymakers could go if, alternatively, they wanted to avoid drinking and general debauchery while on their hols.

It sensibly tips a small town in Connecticut which is dry, a drink and drug free club night called Godspeed in London and then… wait for it… a trip to Iran.

Now Mole is all in favour of trying out different experiences but it would like to remind Skyscanner’s users that along with foregoing booze they should also be cool about losing their human rights.

If anyone forgets they’re on a dry break, watch out for those stonings….
