United adds college football flights
United Airlines is ramping up flights for the college football season.
There will be the addition of 127 college football flights to get fans to 30 games this season.
Last year, more than 50,000 fans flew United to games across the country.
This year, the airline will continue to help get fans to games involving Wisconsin, USC, University of Michigan, Penn State and more.
“We’re committed to providing a best-in-class travel experience to see favorite college football team play,” said Patrick Quayle, SVP of Global Network Planning.
“We’re pleased to deliver a schedule this season that makes it easy for fans.”
In addition to a special schedule, United is partnering with USC Trojans quarterback and 2023 Heisman Award Winner Caleb Williams.
He will help promote college football travel in United’s advertising and social media.
As well as adding more flights, the airline will be flying larger planes to select cities to boost capacity.
This starts with Tennessee State University @ University of Notre Dame on September 2 through to University of Georgia @ University of Tennessee on November 18.
College football flights are now on sale in the app and at United.com.
