United Airlines website sets record
United Airlines announced its website had record purchases in March.
Booked sales for online tickets were up nearly 60% in March over the same month last year.
United.com has added a number of new and enhanced site features over the past few months, said Pete Peterson, president, travel distribution, UAL Loyalty Services.
Those features include the ability to find the lowest available fares with only a few clicks, and various booking bonuses.
