UPDATE: Bulgarian bomber had fake US license
ABC News and other sources report that Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borisov has stated that the explosion on a Bulgarian bus carrying Israeli tourists was likely carried out by a suicide bomber with a fake Michigan driver’s license and possibly with a fake US passport, as well.
The man, apparently in his mid-thirties with shoulder-length hair which could have been a wig, was seen on an airport surveillance video. His fake driver’s license under the name, "Jacque Felipe Martin" gives his place of residence as a Louisiana location which is actually a casino.
The fake US driver’s license and possible fake passport indicate that US intelligence and security forces will become involved in the investigation.
Israeli officials are continuing to insist that the bombing was backed and carried out by Iran and its agents, specifically Hezbollah or Hamas.
Iranian state-run news outlet Press TV calls the allegations: "ridiculous."
