US agents visit the Mamanucas
Fiji Visitors Bureau is doing what it can with the limited funding available to get travel agents from all over the world to visit Fiji to see for themselves that it is a very safe destination indeed and somewhere that they can safely send their clients.
The Mole met with Fiji Visitors Bureau USA, Los Angeles based Jese Naka [pictured carrying the tools of his trade to entertain his guests!] who was accompanying a group of US based agents and he told The Mole that physically bringing agents over to Fiji to experience the destination for themselves was a highly effective way to convince them that Fiji was safe.
He added that the agents on the trip were very impressed with what they had seen and they had visited resorts throughout the Mamanucas and on the mainland.
Jese also said that the agents now all agreed that there was nothing risky or dangerous about visiting Fiji and they would now be very comfortable in sending their clients here.
In addition, he said that that the agents loved the range of quality and prices in Fiji, which made the destination affordable to all sectors.

Unfortunately it appears that although they asked, these agents were not able to attend Bula Fiji Tourism Exchange.
