US lifts military London travel ban
The US has lifted the ban on military personnel going to London following fierce criticism from the government and tourist officials.
The ban was imposed on 10,000 UK-based Air Force personnel who were told not to venture within the M25 boundary following last week’s attacks.
It sparked widespread criticism at a time when overseas visitors, including Americans, were urged not to cancel their plans to visit London.
