SINGAPORE – From March 11, Valuair travellers are being offered extra flexibility on the airline’s four times daily flights to Jakarta.

Passengers can now change their flight schedules for same day flights subject to seat availability.

To change a flight, passengers can approach the ticketing sales counter at the airport or call up the reservations hotline before the time of their preferred flight on the same day.

A fee of SGD20 or US$15 is applicable for each change in timing.

CEO Chong Phit Lian said, “This enhanced flexibility is a welcome change for business travellers for whom time is money. Now they can choose to travel earlier or later on the same day to accommodate changes to their appointment schedules.”

Valuair currently flies 28 flights weekly or four times daily to Jakarta.

Regular fares are priced from S$68 for flights from Singapore to Jakarta and US$49 for flights from Jakarta to Singapore, exclusive of surcharges and taxes.

In addition to Jakarta, Valuair operates 16 weekly services to the Indonesian cities of Surabaya, Medan and Bali.

Valuair and its sister company Jetstar Asia operate from Changi Airport Terminal One and offer free online seat selection, leather seats and 20-kg luggage allowance.
