Vanilla Islands launches at WTM
The Vanilla Islands of the Indian Ocean – namely Comoros, Mauritius, Madagascar, La Reunion, Seychelles, The Maldives and Mayotte – will be launched under a single tourism brand at World Travel Market in London next week.
It is hoped a stronger and enhanced brand will increase connectivity and create new multi-destination products to attract more visitors to the Indian Ocean, leading to greater awareness of the regional attractions.
UNWTO secretary-general, Taleb Rifai and the Seychelles minister of tourism and culture, and president of the Vanilla Islands, Alain St. Ange, will be present at the launch.
