Vanuatu Tourism Office has launched its new online training programme.

Every agent who successfully completes the modules will have the chance to win a spot on an agent famil later this year.

Agents go to www.vanuatu.travel to the agent page to link through to the online training page which is run by Your Workshops.

In the six months to June, 15% more Australians visited Vanuatu compared with the same period in 2011.

Linda Kalpoi, general manager at Vanuatu Tourism Office, said,
"We want to offer travel agents all the tools they need in order to confidently sell the destination to their clients.”

Agents will learn about the main islands of Efate, Tanna and Espiritu Santo as well as outer islands of Malekula and Pentecost.

At the end of each module agents must answer questions correctly and those who successfully complete the programme by October 15 will become a Vanuatu Expert and entered into the draw to win a spot on a famil, which is taking place at the end of November.
