VietJet launching new Phu Quoc route to Hong Kong
Budget carrier VietJet will open a new route connecting Hong Kong with South Vietnam’s top island hotspot Phu Quoc.
The new route kicks off on April 19 and will run four times a week.

Phu Quoc is among the fastest growing island destinations in Southeast Asia and has attracted major hotel and resort investment in recent years, particularly in the upscale and luxury sector.
VietJet now operates 40 domestic and 66 international routes, helping to spur major inbound tourism growth in Vietnam.
According to the General Statistics Office, the country handled 12.5 million air passengers in 2018, up 14.4% on the previous year.
Parent company VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Co saw revenues spike 24% last year.
