Virgin adds extra flights for AFL finals
Virgin Australia is adding capacity to help West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers fans attend this weekend’s AFL Finals Series.
The extra flights, representing a total of 700 extra seats, are for sale at www.virginaustralia.com.
Wednesday September 12 – Perth to Adelaide (departs 2.30pm, arrives 6.50pm)
Thursday September 13 – Perth to Adelaide (departs 5.30pm, arrives 9.50pm)
Saturday September 15 – Adelaide to Perth (departs 11.00am, arrives 1.05pm)
Saturday September 15 – Melbourne to Perth (departs 11.55pm, arrives 2.15am)
Virgin Australia will be offering fares starting from AUD209 from Perth to Adelaide and AUD245 from Perth to Melbourne.
Virgin Australia, the official airline of the AFL, says it will continue to review demand for flights over the next few weeks of the AFL finals, with a view to adding extra flights where possible.
