Virgin Australia joins CLIA
Virgin Australia has become a member of Cruise Lines International Association.
The airline joins the association as an executive partner and says CLIA membership is important as it connects cruisers to many cruise ports in Australasia.
"Like the cruise industry, Virgin Australia’s network extends across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands so it makes sense to foster greater coordination through CLIA Australasia," said Virgin Australia’s general manager global sales Shirley Field.
"A strong partnership between Virgin Australia and CLIA Australasia is good news for our customers as it enables us to work more closely to provide a seamless experience for our guests," she added.
Virgin will also be exhibiting at this year’s Cruise3sixty conference on February 27.
"The awareness of cruising in Australasia continues to go from strength to strength and by bringing key players together through the association, we are able to deliver extensive benefits to our members and the cruising public," said CLIA Australasia general manager Brett Jardine.
