Virgin Australia shifts to Sabre’s Revenue Optimizer
Virgin Australia is migrating to Sabre’s Revenue Optimizer solution.
The move will enable optimal pricing and help drive up revenues.
Sabre says Revenue Optimizer allows Virgin Australia to optimise revenue streams with real-time visibility of every flight, market and departure date.
Currently the carrier is using a number of different systems in its revenue optimisation strategy.
The airline will be moving to Sabre Revenue Optimizer to break down data to inform decisions on availability, customer choice-based demand forecasting and competitive intelligence.
“As we continue to ramp up our operations, it’s more important than ever that we can understand evolving booking behaviours across our network,” said Virgin Australia Group Chief Commercial Officer, Dave Emerson.
Virgin Australia has a strong domestic Australian network as well as its own short haul international services to Fiji, with more international services planned.
