Virgin launching Bali seasonal flights from Darwin
Virgin Australia will start seasonal flights connecting Darwin with Bali next year.
Beginning April 10 2019, Virgin launches three weekly flights until October on Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
It becomes the carrier’s fourth route to the Indonesian tourist island after Brisbane, Sydney and Port Hedland.
"Our guests will now have more choice and flexibility when looking to fly to Bali, with Virgin Australia offering what we believe is the most convenient schedule on this route," said Virgin Australia general manager, network and revenue management, Russell Shaw.
Virgin is the first full service carrier to operate the route.
The new seasonal flights will add more than 1000 seats per week in the Darwin market.
All-in airfares are now available from $199 one way.
