Virgin outlines plans to celebrate 21st birthday with agents
Virgin Holidays is running a series of agent incentives in the next six mohths to celebrate 21 years in business.
In July it is running a quiz for agents to complete to win one of 21 CDs featuring the best music from 1985, its launch year.
In September, 21 agents will win a place on an educational trip to South Africa by telling the operator in 21 words why they deserve to join the trip.
The trip will give agents an insight into how its charity arm, Virgin Unite, is helping causes in South Africa by inviting them to spend a day helping to assist on one of its programmes.
In October, Virgin is holding eighties-themed parties in Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and London.
The top selling Virgin Holidays travel agency for January 1 to October 3 will receive a giant birthday cake and a crate of champagne in November.
Virgin Holidays managing director Amanda Wills said: “Our agents’ support is very important to us and we hope that the fun activities running throughout the year will go some way to expressing our thanks for their help.”
