Virgin says new trade website shows its commitment to agents
Virgin Atlantic has launched a new website dedicated to travel agents and tour operators. The website, www.vsflyinghub.com, includes information on the airline’s policies, products, destinations and news plus agents’ competitions and special offers.
To launch the site, which replaces Virgin’s previous trade website, the airline has a competition for a mini-break to New York including two return Upper Class tickets and dinner at Nobu.
General manager sales Paul Wait said the new website underlined Virgin’s longstanding commitment to the trade.
“We recognise that the trade is an essential part of the whole customer journey and want to provide them with as much information and as many tools as possible to help them,” he said.
The site includes a Knowledge Bank section – an A to Z directory of useful information, allows agents to see which are the most commonly viewed pages and create their own scrapbooks from the contents of the site, personalise them and send them directly to their customers.
Training modules ill be available later in the year when the site will be rolled out globally.
