Virgin Velocity members to earn points on Ola rides
Virgin Australia frequent fliers can now earn Velocity points on regular trips and first and last mile journeys with ride-sharing company Ola.
India based Ola offers airport rides to and from Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Velocity members can earn point for every $1 on general Ola rides and double points for airport trips.
Velocity members will also score 1,000 points when they take their first Ola ride.
The Virgin-Ola tie-up is the first ride sharing partnership of its kind in Australia.
Ola also operates in New Zealand, the UK and across India.
"Australians are increasingly choosing Ola for airport trips and to move around our cities because the platform is a convenient, reliable option," said Ola managing director Simon Smith.
Velocity members simple need to download the Ola app and link their Velocity membership to start earning points.
