A virtual customer services assistant called ‘Valerie’ will feature on a revamped Virgin Holidays trade booking website.
‘Valerie’ is programmed with answers to 3,000 questions and is to be updated on a weekly basis.
New additions to the site www.vhols4agents.com include an updated special offers page, an easily navigated search tool, and a map function detailing all the operator’s destinations worldwide.
More updates are planned for the beginning of next year
Head of trade sales and distribution Mark Burns said: “Our solid agent relationships spanning nearly 25 years, are built at base on our listening ears.
“We like horse’s mouth feedback – it means we are always aligned to what our agents want from the booking experience – online and offline.”
