Visit Philadelphia Overnight Package adds new perks

Thursday, 12 Mar, 2026 0

Visit Philadelphia unveiled a major upgrade to its popular Visit Philly Overnight Package, adding five new perks and access to new museum exhibitions during America’s 250th anniversary year.

The 2026 package is designed to help visitors easily explore Philadelphia and its surroundings, from The Franklin Institute to Longwood Gardens, while celebrating in the Birthplace of America.

Visit Philadelphia recently surveyed past Overnight Package buyers and found that complimentary parking remains a top driver of bookings.

That perk, a signature of the package since 2001, returns in 2026 with a value of up to $140.

This version of the Visit Philly Overnight Package, with perks valued at up to $446, is bookable now at 36 participating hotels for one- or two-night stays from March 26, 2026 through September 7, 2026.

To date, the original package has been booked more than 200,000 times, generating more than $35 million in room revenue for Philadelphia hotels.

“With 2026 on the horizon, we wanted to refresh our most popular package with new experiences,” said Jasmine Armstrong, senior director of hospitality and events at Visit Philadelphia.

“We know travel costs add up quickly. Free parking and museum access help visitors build an itinerary, save money and spend more time enjoying everything Greater Philadelphia has to offer.”

“Philadelphia hotels have been preparing for 2026 for years, and we’re ready to welcome the thousands of visitors expected in the region this summer,” said Ed Grose, executive director of the Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association.

“We’re excited to host first-time guests and repeat visitors alike.”

Semiquincentennial package perks:

The Visit Philly Overnight Package includes one- or two-night accommodations at 36 hotels in Philadelphia County, plus free hotel parking. In 2026, package buyers will also receive free access to select museums and attractions in Philadelphia and the surrounding region:

Brandywine Museum of Art: Two tickets to this Delaware County art museum synonymous with Andrew Wyeth, housing a collection of more than 2,500 landscapes, still life and genre paintings from hundreds of 19th- and 20th-century American artists. (up to $40 value).

How The Package Works:

Consumers can peruse the list of hotels offering the package and book their stay at visitphilly.com. Upon completion of booking, guests will receive a confirmation email that includes instructions for redemption.

Digital tickets will be issued, valid for free admission at The Franklin Institute, Longwood Gardens, Elmwood Park Zoo, Mercer Museum and Brandywine Museum of Art.

Perks expire on December 31, 2026. These perks don’t have to be redeemed during a single visit, allowing guests to use them on a return trip to Philadelphia if they choose to redeem later in the year. Individual blackout dates and restrictions apply.
