Visit USA Association announces Board changes

Visit USA Association (UK) has confirmed several changes to the current operating team and Visit USA (UK) Board of Directors.

The changes were announced at last month’s AGM.

Tracey Spuyman, CEO of Visit USA (UK) and Pamela Newman, Operations and Development Manager will both be standing down from their positions within the Association.

Both have worked throughout the pandemic and leave the Association in a strong position to continue its work promoting travel to the US on behalf of members.

Two long-standing Board Directors –Jody Hanson and Jonathan Sloan -have stood down from the Board this year.

Visit USA Association thanks both for their professionalism, and accomplishments.

Jody Hanson joined the Visit USA (UK) in 2000 and has served as a Board Director for over 22 continuous years

Jonathan Sloan joined the Visit USA PR committee in 1998 and has held a variety of different roles and positions during the following 24 years including Chair of the Association from 2013 –2017 and more recently as Interim Chair following the sad loss of Sarah Lax in 2021.

Following the annual election process in February this year,Visit USA (UK announced two new members have joined the Board– Ivan Beacom from Aer Lingus and James Killick from Virgin Holidays.

Julie Greenhill, Director at Greg Evans Consultancy has been appointed Chair of the Association and Andy Facer, Director at 5F Marketing is Vice-Chair for the next two years.

Both have long and productive careers in the UK to USA travel market.

Julie was previously Vice-Chair, and both were serving as Board Directors of the Association prior to the recent changes.
