VisitBritain and BA launch £1.6m campaign
VisitBritain and British Airways are launching a new £1.6 million jointly-funded marketing campaign tomorrow.
Called ‘Britain. A different picture around every corner’, the campaign is being funded 50/50 by the two and offers special fares to economy passengers.
The joint promotion also extends into media familiarisation trips and syndication of VisitBritain web content onto ba.com and consumer databases.
Laurence Bresh, director of marketing for VisitBritain, said: “Britain has more attractions per square mile than anywhere else in the world and we think the ‘Classic’ campaign will inspire visitors to travel the length and breadth of the country.”
