Vistara fined after untrained pilot lands plane

Indian airline Vistara was fined after a pilot landed a plane who wasn’t sufficiently trained. The incident last summer was deemed a ‘serious incident.’
According to an official with knowledge of the investigation, the captain was not simulator trained on guiding a first officer in such landings.
Vistara was issued a one million rupee fine
The plane landed safely without incident at Indore Airport.
