Voyages Launches Australia movie mini web site
To celebrate the release of Baz Luhrmann’s epic movie Australia next month, Voyages Hotels & Resorts has launched a mini-site dedicated to encouraging holidaymakers to start planning their own Australian adventure.
Tourism Australia and operators, inclduing Voyages are hoping that Baz Luhrmann’s epic production “Australia” will spark new interest in Australian outback tourism following the film’s much-anticipated launch on November 26, with the mini-site at www.voyages.com.au/australia offering holidaymakers a range of ideas on transformational holidays and journeys combining the best Australia has to offer, from the tranquillity and Outback splendour of Uluru and Kata Tjuta, to the wild frontier of Western Australia’s Kimberley Region and the beauty and majesty of the Great Barrier Reef.
Voyages says that mini-site contains all the information travellers need to follow in Nicole’s and Hugh’s footsteps, across Australia, including:
** Suggested itineraries, including a five-night Ultimate Australian Itinerary and a five-night Red Centre Walkabout.
** The chance to win an amazing journey to the far reaches of Australia. The prize includes two nights at Ayers Rock Resort at Desert Gardens Hotel; two nights at Silky Oaks Lodge on the edge of the Daintree Rainforest and two nights at Heron Island on the Great Barrier Reef
** An introduction to the Australia film
** Recent articles, news and press releases
Anna Guillan, Executive General Manager Sales & Marketing, Voyages Hotels & Resorts said, “There is no better time to start planning the ultimate Australian holiday in Australia and Voyages Resorts offer a breathtaking variety of landscapes, from the Red Centre’s Outback and dusty cattle stations, to tropical rainforests and the Great Barrier Reef; the hardest part will be deciding where to start!â€
