Spanish low cost airline, Vueling is to recruit 500 new employees as part of its international growth in 2013.

The recruitment drive for pilots, cabin crew and support staff, is a direct result of its planned expansion for the summer season of 2013 which will begin in March.

From next spring, the airline will increase its operations at El Prat-Barcelona Airport by introducing new international routes.

During the 2012 summer season, Vueling reported the largest growth in its history.

At Catalan airport,  El Prat-Barcelona, it raised the number of based aircraft from 22 to 38 and handled  22% more passengers compared with the same period during 2011.
