Wanda Hotels & Resorts introduces new brand
China’s Wanda Hotels & Resorts has unveiled a new hotel brand, as well as a revamp of its loyalty programme.
At a launch ceremony the company introduced Wanda Moments, which it describes as a premium mid-scale brand.
Wanda is targeting as many as 700 hotels for the new brand across China in the next five years, according to Wanda president Dr. Ning Qifeng.
It becomes the fifth brand after Wanda Reign, Wanda Vista, Wanda Realm and Wanda Jin.
Its mission is to provide high-quality selected service to business travellers, the company said, which ‘integrates art, culture, intelligence and fashion.’
It also announced the launch of an upgraded Wanda Club programme with a revamped earning and redemption mechanism.
Points accumulation has been expanded to now include spend at restaurants, banquets and MICE events held at Wanda Hotels & Resorts.
Wanda Club points can be redeemed on hotel rooms, dining, relevant flight mileage and movie tickets at Wanda Cinemas in China.
The programme comprises four tiers – Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
