A travel insurance training programme for agents has been established through www.onlinetraining.co.uk .
The Rock Stars scheme from Rock Insurance is designed to help agents understand travel insurance products and boost their sales.
Four modules are included with two more under construction: About Rock Insurance and Our Insurance Policies, FSA Regulations, Selling Rock Travel Insurance and Supplier Failure Cover.
Each module contains between five and ten questions and takes around 20 minutes to complete.
Agents will receive a £25 wine voucher for completing the four modules to help them celebrate. Those completing all four modules before September 18 will be entered into a prize draw to win an iPod Touch.
Managing director Antony Martin said: “This course is perfect for agents who have shied away from insurance sales and for those who want to brush up on their product knowledge.
“The course was designed to be easily accessible, so agents can dip in and out as and when they have the time, and to make travel insurance easy to understand and sell.
“A key motivator for travel agents is the additional income they can earn through ancillaries if they follow the hints and tips given throughout the course.”
*Agents can access Rock Stars by logging on to www.onlinetraveltraining.co.uk or via www.rockinsurance.com.
